Tumaco, the pearl of the Pacific, is located in the Colombian West, on the border with Ecuador. This region is today one of the cocoa treasures in the world and gives life and character to several of the Cocoa Hunters chocolates.
In this region we find generations that seek to preserve a culture around the mystique of cacao; a dream that rises from the earth and that is rescued with the hands of farmers.
Cacao Hunters came to this region to find unexplored native cocoa fruits, and generate important advances in harvesting issues and fermentation processes that adapt to the environmental and climatic conditions of the area.
There have been many challenges to develop techniques that adapt to these conditions but in the end, we have achieved a product that today is recognized as one of the best in the world.
This effort has been rewarded with important international recognitions such as the mention obtained at the International Cocoa Awards in 2015 in Paris.
